Jef Bretschneider is a New York based contemporary artist. He is known for his participation in the 1980's EAST VILLAGE, NYC art scene.

 

Recently, Bretschneider was included in the 2017-2018 Club 57 Retrospective at the Museum of Modern Art  (MoMA) in New York City

"SHIFTING BORDERS" is kinetic light sculpture I built in 1978. It was exhibited  at the Museum of Modern Art (MoMA) in New York as part of their 2017-2018 CLUB 57 RETROSPECTIVE .
